3 cans tuna (or as many as you need) mashed and mixed with mayonnaise, onion powder, garlic powder, 2-3 eggs (less if you use less tuna) and bread crumbs. The mixture has to be not too stiff and not too loose
In a pot, pour in a 15oz can tomato sauce, fill the can with water and add that to the pot and bring to a boil.
Meanwhile, fry the tuna patties and when it's all nice and brown add that to the tomato sauce/water mixture and cook for 10-15 min.
Serve on top of any pasta.
enjoy!!

Here is a recipe for tuna patties in a lemony tomato sauce:
2 cans of tuna (10 oz each)
1/4 cup of matza meal
2 eggs beaten
2 Tbsppp. chopped parsley
1 grated onion
salt and pepper
oil for frying
for the sauce:
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 cup of water
1 large tomato crushed
1 tsp. sugar
salt and pepper
Servings (croquettes) recalculate
Preparation
drain and flake tuna
add the matzo meal, eggs, parsley, onion, salt and pepper.
Form balls with wet hands.
Heat oil and fry croquettes a few at a time. Until golden brown on both sides. In a small sauce pan mix all sauce ingredients and bring to a boil.
serve the croquettes hot, with warm sauce on the sides or chill the croquettes in the sauce and serve as an appetizer.
