We just bought a new bedroom set for my son. I nnoticed today that his desk has marker stains on it- it's a walnut colored wood. He doesn't have permenant markers, it looks like the marker went through the paper onto the desk. I tried pledge, goo-of, fantasic but its not coming out. ANy ideas?

Oh dear well if it was me I would just restain that part I guess and then varnish so you won't have that issue in the future. Idea I just remembered that You also can buy those wood stain like markers I have used them for my chairs that were scuffed. Most hardware stores that sell stains sell that Hatzlacha

I have my son's name in black permanent marker on the back of 1 of my dining room chairs. It's been like that for 2 years becaiuse I'm scared to use the mr clean magic eraser. I even tried it on the bottom of the leg, & it started to take off the color.

OK I tried Mr Clean magic eraser- it took it off with a little bit of the shine. After I polished the desk, it looked as good as new. Thanks!
