The way I do it is with windex and a micro shmatte. it works well for me..

My problem isn't so much getting it clean... it's just getting it to stay like that for a couple of hrs

I like the glass and mirror wipes. It's probably a bit more then using windex and a paper towel - but I think theres less streaks.

I do.
but we dont get newspapers, so I just use paper towels and windex. I dont get any streaks.

Ditto! I give my kids a shmatte and have them clean windows. They love it!

newspaper is supposed to be the best but I never told that to my cleaning ladies. They use paper towels & Windex.
