I love love love love peanut chews!!!!!!!!!

Supermom you can use honey instead of corn syrup but it won't come out as good.

This is my recipe:
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup light corn syrup
1 whole container creamy peanut butter. (I think it's 18 or 24 oz.)

Cook it on a very low flame until the peanut butter has softened a little and it is well mixed. Then add 4 cups of rice crispies. Mix and press into cookie sheet.

Melt baking chocolate in microwave or double boiler and spread over peanut chews.

I cut it into diamond shapes or squares. YUM YUM YUMMY- It goes right into my TUMMY!!!

Btw a very easy and less messy way to melt chocolate is to put the chocolate chips in a heavy ziplock bag and let it sit in a small pot of water that youve heated to maybe a boil (do not leave the pot on the heat when you put the bag in.) It works great for me, Its also so convenient for filling chocolate molds or drizzling the chocolate on cookies, you just cut a small bit off the corner of the bag.

so what if you use cheerrios instead of krispies, how would it affect it?
