You're not the only one. I don't like it either. There are other restaurants that have much better sesame chicken than KD.

You're not the only one. I don't like it either. There are other restaurants that have much better sesame chicken than KD. | We like the sesame chicken from the Chinese store.

I make this real often and tastes pretty close to KD sesame chicken (BP, Flatbush and Manhattan......!)
cup ketchup
cup water
cup brown sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp sesame seeds
shake together to combine.
saute onion and 3 cloves minced garlic. Combine with sauce.
Pour mix over breaded and fried nuggets. bake uncovered for 1/2 over. remove from oven.

Anyone tried breading and baking the nuggets? I usually dip the nuggets in egg, flour and egg and fry but would anyone notice if I baked the nuggets, then poured the sauce over and baked more?

Im also addicted to KD sesame chicken and Ive tried every possible version of homemade sauce,....Nothing comes close!

I always bake my sesame chicken before adding the sauce and I get alot of compliments on them.
