Does anyone have any good ideas for inexpensive Bar or Bat Mitzvah gifts? Since money is tight, we cannot spend so much on a gift, but I would like to give something nice. Any ideas??

Does it need to be religious?
iTunes gift card. With songs at about $1 a piece, a small amount can buy a lot of music and happiness.
More religious, Klipped Kippahs. Amazing -- the internal combs are comfortable and stay on.

What do you mean by inexpensive?
I buy silver Cross pens for $20.00 and sometimes engrave them for $5.00.

If he has an outside interest and is allowed secular literature, how about a magazine subscription?
