I just saw a leather cleaner in IKEA. I never tried it, but their stuff is usually good.

Alcohol gets off ink from leather. rub very gently with a alcohol and a cotton ball. Try to remove before the ink sets. Use very little alcohol and proceed very slowly. The alcohol has a tendancy to remove some of the dye(color) of the leather, so don't rub in too hard, and keep checking as you go.
BTW there is a thread on this subject somewhere else on the board. good luck and keep those pens away from the couch!!

Try hairspray. It's know to work. Put it on the rag and not the couch.
