In online rooms, when you encounter someone who was born Jewish and has 'converted' to another religion, do you ever try to talk to them about Yiddishkeit?

yes... we actually met a couple through babycenter who live by us. We invite them all the time for shabbos and yom tov. My husband is going to start learning with the husband. They have become great friends.

How is it working out, Sara? Are they becomming more interested in Yiddishkeit? Were they, mamish, keeping another religion? I am very interested in this. I know someone Jewish with SEVEN Jewish kids who do not know they are Jewish. It is so sad to me.

B"H they never were into a different religion. They were at a point of wanting more I think. The running joke is if bush wins they are becoming frum... IY"H!!!! Just become their friends, invite them slowly, and over time their Jewish neshamas will IY"H be lite and they will start questions.

I would, irl or online, "converted" or just not practicing... I have brought back to frumkeit a few girls, two of them even sent me a nice thank you card
