I have a skirt with a slit in it that I would like to fill with a kick pleat. It's off-white corduroy and I don't think I'll find an exact match in a fabric store. There isn't enough material to use from the skirt itself. Any ideas?

Cream-color canvas or linen-look. Or for a sportier look, corduroy in a contrasting but related color like tan or ecru.

I'd do off-white cotton. I add kick-pleats to skirt slits quite often and find that the simpler and more versatile, the better! Hope it woks out.

I was thinking tan or light brown courderoy also ... but I could see the exact color in a simple cotton working as well ... bring your skirt to the fabric store ...
