Does waxing underarm or other hair cause the hair to grow back less thinner or slower?

It weakens the hair follicle and causes the hair to grow back thinner and a little slower. It takes a lot of waxing for you to notice a difference, though. I've been waxing my legs for about 3 years and have noticed a difference.

I am waxing for a year and see a huge difference both on my legs and underarms.
I have gone through a pregnancy since, don't know if that would have made a difference.
