Anyone have a good ice cream recipe? I don't have an ice cream maker. I'm looking for a pareve, egg and nut free recipe. I'm nervous about using raw eggs. You used to be able to get the Davidson pasteurized in the shell eggs that whipped pretty well but the local distributor no longer carries them.
I'd like to make three layers (vanilla, strawberry, choc.).
Thanks!

I use ripe bananas and soya cream (like soy milk, except it has single cream consistency) for parve icecream. Strawberries and chocolate come ok, but I haven't tried vanilla. Alternatively I'm tempted to freeze parve soya custard. (We get Alpro soya cream and parve custard, not sure if you get that).
I don't have exact measurement on hand, but you basically want to blend everything (soya cream, banana, sugar, chocolate or a handful of chopped strawberries) and freeze in a vat. Taste before freezing--it should taste somewhat on a sweeter side (when frozen it will be less sweet). When it's half frozen you "slush" it with a metal spoon so that it doesn't freeze as solid block of ice.

you might get more replies if you post this in the dessert section instead of the meat section

Thanks! This is the first time I did a new post; it could just as easily have ended up who knows where

I have a great ice cream recipe that does not have eggs.
2 8oz whips
2 boxes instant vanilla pudding
2 cups soy milk
whip the whips. add the pudding and soy milk and mix untill all combined. you can add anything to it once it is all mixed. I put in chunks of halvah. you can add cookies pieces, diced fruit or any type of topping that you like. freeze.

Thanks for the recipe. I've tried the whip pudding milk type thing. Actually, sometimes without soy milk, et. because a cousin of mine who's brilliant in the kitchen makes it that way. But I think this is a go.
