Highland Park/Minneapolis, MN

We're contemplating a move to MN and were checking out these two communities. Can anyone tell me any information about either place? Specifically, we're wondering about community size and make up (ie young couples, families, etc.), general hashkafa, schools, and employment availability for DH, but any information would be a big help.

I'm origonally from Minneapolis. The frum community moved to St. Louis Park and it's a beautiful young community, great school Etc. I can get you in touch with some people there. What would you like to know? You can always PM me.

I don't know about Jobs there though. I was just back there a few months ago. Lakewood started a Kollel there and the community is growing.

Highland Park is a Lubavitch community; Saint Louis Park (I.e. Minneapolis) includes a modern-orthodox and yeshivish communities. Both are nice: nice, warm people, active shuls, schools, etc. The two restaurants are in SLP (a deli and milchik cafe type). The driving distance between the two is about 25 minutes.
