Therapist for 12-yr-old girl

Child is in desperate need of psychological care; is emotionally disturbed due to severe and chronic trauma in the family. Has been to a few therapists, spent months there, but no movement in any direction. Child has major trust issues, therefore does not open up to therapist.

No severe behavioral issues that would be controlled by meds. Extremely intelligent child.

In need of a top-notch therapist, one who is known to have excellent track record with kids this age. Child had major loss in early eary life and is affecting her trust across the board.

Therapist need not be frum, as we have already exhausted the frum-therapist list. They are either booked solid, or else have late hour appt. which is child's bedtime. Would consider taking the child during school hours.

Mother isn't around, but dad is an excellent dad and gives her all the warmth and caring. However, he cannot do the therapeutic work that is required. He is constantly upgrading his parenting skills, yet he realizes this alone will not help the child deal with her underlying issues of loss and loss of trust. And other traumas that she has endured up until now.
