I am looking to buy a new washing machine coz mine makes holes in the clothes!!!  any suggestions why this might happen????
Anyone heard of the boucnet machine (German) or can you recommend a reliable one??????

check the inside of your machine to make sure it is smooth. I've heard that overloading can cause the top of the machine to become rough and snag clothing. This can be smoothed out by a professional.
Also, do you wash your cloths with items that can tear them (like the clips on a bra)

It's that thing in the middle of most top load machines that agitates the clothing. Clothes can get caught on the bottom of it and rip.

Yup I agree with the front loader! Washes and soaks the clothing really well!

some people assume that you put your clothing around the agitator ... but then it pulls as it spins ... you must put the clothing sort of in sections ... rather than stretched out ... make any sense ... well it does to me ... but it's hard to explain ...
also don't overload the machine ...
