Need FEMALE driving instructor w. good results?

Anyone know of one?

I don't know where you live but there's supposedly someone in brooklyn (B.P. or flatbush.....) who's good. I think her name is Mrs. Banish. Not sure how you would get her number. Maybe the phonebook? I think her first name is Devorah. Hope this helped you somewhat.

In Monsey there's Dana Driving School. Dana is an instructor (female) and she has male instructors also.

She's very good (she taught me and I think I'm a pretty good driver Wink

).

They're located on North Main Street (Route 45).

Why are you afraid of a male instructor?

Who said she's "afraid"? Maybe she's just more comfortable with female. Tzniyus issues.......

OP here. I just heard about s/o who was really apprehensive about learning to drive, and was very successful and comfortable with a woman instructor.

I'm in B'klyn BTW.

There is someone in Williamsburg, Follman's driving school. He advertises in the Torah Times. He has a woman instructor, and comes to Boro Park or Flatbush. I used the guy, and he was very good.

I actually think it is not the male/female that makes the difference but rather their capabilities ... that being said my son had a female driving instructor (nec under certain age) and wanted to know who taught him to drive because he is great ... that instructor would be female - ME!!!

I used Devorie Banash - she was really good. I don't have her number, but you can look her up she lives in bp around 20th ave and maybe 50 somethng street.

I used a female instructor- aside from the tzniyus issue- it is also a comfort factor- I am much more comfortable around a lady than a man.

There's a Devorie Banash listed on Avenue L, and none near 20th Avenue- Did she move?

It's possible that she moved- I used her about 5 years ago and she was definitley listed than in bp- Call that # for Devorie banash- chances are it's her- It does'nt hurt to try.
