I know I asked once before for a recipe however I still haven't got 1.... if you have any recipe (using the minimum amount of jello) using real fruits please go ahead & post it... I'll be forever grateful....!!!!

Here's the one I make; it's from What's Cooking:

Three Layer Sorbet
8 to 10 ripe kiwis
3 cans pineapple chunks, drained
2 1-lb bags frozen strawberries
2 1/2 cups sugar

Using a food processor, process the kiwi with 1 cup of sugar. (I sometimes strain it to remove the seeds.) Place into a Ziploc storage bag and freeze. Then process the pineapple with 1/2 cup sugar. Place into another Ziploc bag and freeze. Process strawberries with 1 cup sugar. Place into a third bag and freeze.
To assemble, partially thaw each layer and reprocess until creamy. Do one fruit at a time and gently layer into a medium loaf pan. Freeze.
To serve, cut into slices.

Enjoy!

I made a similar recipe (I used mango for the middle layer) and you really need to do the precessing bit a few times to make sure the fruit stays creamy and doesn't freeze in hard chunks. I froze each layer separately and processed 2x and it was mostly smooth, but still there were a lot of frozen chunks of fruit that made it hard to eat and even harder to serve (I made it in a loaf pan and sliced it).
I have another recipe with my pesach stuff. I'll get it in a little while and post it for you. No jello, no fruit, just juices.

Hmm, I've always wanted to try mango for the middle because somehow the pineapple was always the one that didn't freeze just right - it was always a bit too icy. The other layers, though, always turned out creamy and delicious - no lumps. This is one of my favorite summer-time desserts - fairly healthy (if you ignore the sugar content...) and incredibly refreshing.

I am curious to see your Pesach recipe, though.

I never did the tricolor sorbet, but I make mango sorbet that always comes out creamy and delicious.

4 c cubed mango
1 c sugar
1 c white grape juice
1 T lemon juice

Must blend 2x in order to get the smooth texture.
