We are open to suggestions. Don't really have anyone to name for, so looking for a nice name that would work in Hebrew and English without too many difficulties = or one that has an easy English counter part (see Hannah for Chana).

Here are names we can't use -
Eliana
Sara
Rochel
Nechama
Yocheved
Zehava
Shoshana
Emunah
Tova
Bracha
Devorah
Penina
Chaya
Chava
Shira
Shayna
Miriam

We don't like really, trendy, too-Israeli sounding, but are otherwise open to suggestions.

I am SO out of ideas, and Dh isn't much help. We also conceived after a long battle with IF, so names with meanings showing that would be an "extra."

We also conceived after a long battle with IF and named our daughter Netanya (as in Hashem gave).
VERY easy to pronounce...DD has been in both Jewish and non-Jewish childcare and done just fine, namewise.

We are considering Hodaya (thanks to Hashem) for future DD.

B' Shaah Tovah!

Yocheved, Odelia/Audelia (although it's trendy these days), Odaya (same), Shai (same), Shaili (very trendy sounding though).

In a totally other style my great grandparents used Dora for a girl named after difficulties ("gift", Ladino name).

I don't know where the OP is, but I don't think many people in the US would be that comfortable using Dora because of the super popular television character.

I absolutely love my little Shalva's name (and of course the baby herself!).

DH came home from naming DD looking terrified - and said " I added a name that we didnt discuss..." turns out I LOVED IT!! and wished we used it for her first, rather than THIRD name !! Chevrona - we couldve called her Roni, or CHevy.... still sorry its not her first name, maybe she would be willing to change it?
