Trendy womens clothing in brooklyn

So I want to start my shopping for yom tov I know its early but this is my dilemma im sick of shopping at the same stores like junee elzee unique boutique. I want ideas of stores that have trendy clothes but not overly expensive I.e. Esti's I dont feel like spending 1000 dollars on a dress for shabbos I have lived here all my life and have no clue where to shop.

Exquisite on New Utrecht ave and 53rd St.

Their stuff is nice, a bit trendy and a suit is about $260.

Also, maybe you can find something at Zara's in the city.

fashion island on coney and k has a nice selection in a range of prices, lots of trendy stuff that isn't a fortune. do you like brenda's on 18th ave? tends to be a bit more expensive, but also trendy, and not nearly esti's.

I do like fashion island and brenda's im looking for places maybe I never heard of I will look at exquisite sounds interesting.

Maybe Brenda's is not as expensive as Esti's, but what is inexpensive about a $250 skirt? I really enjoyed the service and selection at Talking Fashion on Coney. There are two women who work there and they'll work with you until you get what you want. They were so nice and helpful. One "trend" that I noticed was that you can't get a Shabbos suit anywhere. Do people not wear suits any more?

Oh, you could try your luck at Fox's. I've found some great deals, but you need time. Good luck.

thanks everyone for the responses I never thought brenda's was that expensive I always thought their prices were about the same as Talking Fashion. Are there any stores in ppl basements that maybe I just dont know about. Somewhere that has hours preferably and not appt when I make an appt I always feel I have to buy something cause they take their time to open for me.

yea but im looking for more of the trendy but tznius stuff like dresses I cant seem to find any in regular stores that are long enough

If you can get yourself to a mall (like roosevelt field,etc), you can try BCBG and Zara, for designer looks and trendy styles. Have you ever tried online shopping? Vera Wang designs an inexpensive clothing line for Kohls department store. They often have really cute things. www.kohls.com

I have been to roosevelt field many a time but bcbg their stuff is not tznius and to spend 300 dollars for a dress that I then need to spend another 100 to make it work isnt worth it to me. I havent tried Zara but I will thanks for the suggestion.
