Littering? WDYT?

I am ususally pretty careful with littering, but this morning I had a cup of coffee and I didn't want to take in to work with me. So I spilled it in the parking lot... After I did it, I felt guilty- but I couldn't cry over spilled coffee...

Would you consider that littering?

I am guessing you didn't throw the cup on the ground, just poured out the coffee. The rain will wash it away. I don't think that is in the same league as throwing your garbage on the ground.

I don't think so. I often empty my kids sippy cups on the side of the road and rinse with water and refill. I figure if it is safe to put in them it can't be too bad for the ground.
And I've even heard that coffee is good for plants - so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I wasn't quite worrying about it, I was just curious. I was thinking at the time that if I am embarrassed to be seen emptying the cup on the ground (paved), it can't be too proper.
I am over it, especially since it is supposed to rain (again!) later...
