I want to go back to get an MSW.
People told me to stay away from Touro- as some managers won't hire from there.
Any thoughts on where you went, and how it worked for you?

Any online options?

I do not live in the NY area (as you could probably guess from my username Smile ), but I am currently in school getting my MSW. You can PM me with any questions if you want.

I went to Adelphi, b/c it was most convenient living on L.I. The best one to try to get into is Hunter. Its a great school and cheap since its a city school. NYU and Columbia are great schools but $$$ and hard to get into. I would say after that Adelphi, Wurtzweiler and Fordham are pretty equal. I don't know abt Touro--it wasn't around when I was in school in 1999-2001

if you have any more questions, PM me

Is Touro accredited- I heard that they do not meet all requirements for an MSW and all other certification

Make sure you enter a clinical environment so that you can earn your "C", so many more opportunities that way. My friend was working for 2 years in a place and 4 months before she finished, they told them that they will not be sticking a C to her title... must be a clinic strictly. Hatzlacha.
