When did you start saying shema over your babies crib? Do you say it and use Hashems name when putting your child (baby) to sleep?

I started saying shema to my baby - when he started going to bed at night, for the night (Approximately 6 months). It is part of my good night routine with him. I put him in, say shema (Yes with Hashems Name) tell him I love him, give him his bottle and close his bedroom door.
