Simple marinated salmon recipe-

this is a recipe that is best the longer it is marinated (I usually make it wednesday night, but thursday would be fine too)

First: boil up saltwater in a pan, then place salmon skin up and cook for 20 min

Then for the sauce:
5 simple ingredients, all in the same amount, 1/2 cup each
*ketchup
*vinegar
*sugar
*water
*mayonnaise

keep in mind this amunt is for about 5 slices or so, so the more you make, the more sauce you need (but it is very easy to double, since all are the same amounts)

blend very well (I prefer to do it with a hand-blender), then slice half a large onion into moon shapes.

once the fish has cooled, put over into the container you will use to store it-place the sliced onions on top, then pour the sauce over everything (try to make enough sauce so that it mostly covers the fish)

cover in silverfoil and refrigerate

I tried this once, and so far (almost) everyone has loved it

is the sauce cooked ... or do you put fish in oven with sauce after it marinates ...
