To all you Lakewooders - don't buy gas at Jersey Gas on Route 9.
A trust worthy mechanic told my dh that he had 8 cars in today with ruined fuel pumps. That is today alone. He has 60 gallons of gas that he collected from the cars he has had with the problem. All filled up at Jersey gas before they started having problems. He already sent out the gas for testing. It wasn't water that was added but it may be a mis-balance of the ethanol. He doesn't think they are stupid enough to mess with the gas but thinks it may have been an accident and it happened during processing. In the meantime he strongly suggested not buying there. I know there are signs around town but we saw a few people still buying there today.

we never bought there in any case, but I know people who do...
