My DD is making a kolrabi salad, so we also peeled 5 extra turnips. She said that the turnips are so strong it may ruin the salad. Maybe she is right, but now do you have any ideas what I can do with 5 fairly large peeled turnip????

| Cut them in cubes and roast them. Bring the leftovers to my place.

They make for a great "au gratin" no carb option.
Slice turnips on the round and place in a deep dish. sprikle with s+p and keep layering until none left. In a small saucepan fry up some onions then add 1/2 Tbsp potato starch (or matzo meal) and mix in well. Slowly add soup, stirring it in and letting the mix thicken before adding more. Once you attain the total volume of sauce you want, beat in 1 egg (optional) and season with s+p. Pour over turnips and back at 400 until bubbly and browning and turnips are fully cooked!
