I wouldn't keep it longer than a few hours, if that.
Mimi, it's like latkes, except from cooked, mashed potatoes.

sort of. It's mashed potatoes, eggs, spices and sometimes starch or matza meal, made into patties and fried. It's a bit thicker than latkes and tastes very differnent.
It's a traditional pesach food, I don't know anyone who really makes it all year around.

Dont forget...Sprinkled with sugar.
So let me try another way now. How long can cooked potatoes stay in the fridge? I would like to make the chremsel a few times over this yom tov but only need a few pcs each time and it is only good right out of the pan.
