Horrible antisemitism in Toronto university

York university in Toronto where most frum people go to has had the level of antisemitism escalate recently. Pro-palestinian protests have been going on for a while, nothing new there, but the latest incident is getting scary. They trapped a bunch of students in the Hillel there screaming anti-semitic things at them and police had to come to let them out. The university hasn't said or done anything about it.
They also tried to institute a rule that no Israeli professors be allowed to teach in the college.
It terrifies me, I've had so many friends in school there and I was also in a college in Toronto that had a ton of anti-Israel posters and protests, its way too close to home. And no one seems to be doing or saying anything about it.

I am absolutely dismayed to hear this...I had some friends who went there and know of some Jewish professors...

lets hope this is just the last darkness before the geulah...

Goodness, you guys aren't the first to notice the SN/avatar conflict. I don't think of shnitzel as a food b/c I never eat it! I used to say it all the time instead of saying "bad words" when I drop something on my toe (which happens more often then you would think). The coffee looks to yummy to give up as an avatar and I'm used to my screen name so it's going to have to be considered soy (thanks for the dan l'kaf zechus mimivan Smile
