Punchkees videos

What do you think of these? I ordered a Purim one for my kids and it was just puppets talking about purim using voices that are difficult to understand. I was hoping for props, costumes, purim music, etc. Am I asking too much? My daughter said she liked it enough, but hasn't asked to watch it again.

I hope they are worth it. I just ordered 4 from kinderclassics, if its called that. I heard they were sweet and appropriate from someone I respected in my community, so I took the plunge. I need videos, besides Uncle Moishy which is why I decided on those. I like uncle Pinchy, thats cute. Agent Emes are nice but to loan cause my daughter says she cant see them over and over.

Yeah they are aweful, I got the one for channukka, my son didn't know better and I guess kind of liked it, he was about 17 months though. LOL yeash you're daughter probably didn't love it either.

my kids will watch it but I think it is, well lets put it this way, 613 torah ave, and any music video would be given preference.

I find the punchkees deathly annoying, but my kids like it. but even my 3 yr old asked to keep it low(thier voices can burn a hole in your brain...)

Punchkees are so annoying. Th voices are so put on & not natural, but for some reason, my kids like them. We hid them from our kids!

I agree with the others. I have 3 of their DVDs (all gifts), and I find them all annoying. however my kids love it.
BTW, does anyone have episode 2? (chanukah/vayishlach) The DVD seems to be messed up (switches to hebrew for a couple of seconds, and there is no Vayishlach on it) I was wondering if I got the bad one or are they all like that. I would return it to the store the person bought it at, but I do not live in the same city.

Yes, that is the only one I have, you aren't missing anything, it's really stupid, no props just a story, and a really anoying song they always sing, not overly professional!

It's the worst video I've ever seen. I don't even understand the lyrics to the song?? I wouldn't even recommend it for a newborn.

My 5 month old baby loves the Little People videos. I know theyre not Jewish themed but theyre just about season and numbers etc., and theyre very colorful and fun. My nieces and nephews love them too (ages 2-6)
