Does anyone know if I can still find them and where?

This is a pan that you bake with on the stove.

can you put them on the plata? I've seen them in the shuk...I wanted one to make cholent in and place on the plata afterward.

It's called a seer pelle, wundertopf, wonder pot or stove-top oven or stove-top baker. as of about three or four years ago they were still being sold in EY.
