ISO Miami Beach attraction ideas

Will be in Miami iy"h first week of February and looking for fun stuff to see and do. In the past we went to the parrot jungle, seaquarium, viscaia, and are looking for something different. Any ideas?

The Miami Children's Museum is great. You can also rent a boat on Haulover Beach, that's a lot of fun.

You just input the city you are visiting and it asks you your kids ages and what kind of activity you want to do, and if you want it to be indoors or outdoors and it gives you a whole list of things you can do.

It's a huge lifesaver...

The Museum of Discovery and Science (in downtown Ft. Lauderdale)
Riverwalk Park (also downtown Ft. Lauderdale)
Jungle Queen riverboat or the water taxi that runs in Ft. Lauderdale
Butterfly World (in Coconut Creek - depends on whether you're closer to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale as to whether it's worth it)
Sawgrass Mills Mall (oh yeah...they had a kosher cinnabon last time I was there, too)
inside of the mall - Wannadoo City

Just came back from Miami- we did some things on your list plus biking in biscayne bay which was stunning! The website is http://www.key-biscayne.com/mangrove/index.htm , however, im just warning you the site is WAY old and the prices are not current, nor the info, so call them in advance! It was stunning down there. We also did the bayside cruiser tour- actually it was called something else, but it's the same company and you can google that. Kayaking in Oleta river state park - north miami beach- is also beautiful.

Thax for all the good ideas. I'm looking forward to trying some of them.

never either heard of the miami skylift & sounded really interesting so I checked out their website & it says that it's now closed & is looking for a new home. this is the link:

I just read recently there are gondola rides in ft laud. I have no idea what the cost is. I would imagine it's not for kids.

Wanna Do City (someone mentioned it in an earlier post), is supposed to be amazing for the kids ( and it's located in an AMAZING outlet mall- probably one of the biggest outlet malls in the US - Sawgrass Mills Mall)
