| |
They asked me from the school to run a theme night dinner -fundraiser. I need ideas for a theme and menu. I do not plan on decorating much, so the theme has to go on the food, not the decor.
I was thinking of a game theme with foods like SCRABBLE SOUP ( a soup w/ alphabet pasta)
I am open to other ideas.
here is what is needed:
must be a fleishig meal.
need option of 2 soups
need 2 options for the main course.
sides-at least 2, preferably 4 (2 starch, 2 veggie)
dessert
TIA

Chinese or any oriental is easy, no?
Western food?
southern food?
u want to do a very obvious theme, or can it be cute but far fetched? _________________ "But it's no use going back to yesterday, I was a different person then"- Alice in Wonderland

Post in the recipe section. I don't cook meat, so I don't have recipes.

For taco/fajita meat, you can use the Ortega dinner packs. They're OU hashgacha, and they have all the spice to add to the ground meat to make it "taco flavored". Also has cooking instructions.
Then you put out common toppings for tortillas - corn, fried beans, fried onions, lettuce, salsa, guacamole, etc.
