Help! Wax on clothing. How can I get it off??

We had a Melave Malka wax incident. There is wax on some clothing. I tried putting a cloth on top and going over it with a hot iron. It didn't work. Any tried and true suggestions. dd wants this clothing for Shabbos.

You can use parchment paper or a brown paper bag under and over the garment, and run over it with a warm iron, moving the brown paper bag or parchment paper as it accumulates wax. Wash as usual. (Before you do that scrape off big pieces with a knife)

If a spot remains after you've done as sunshine advised followed by a run thru the washer, try Carbona or similar solvent spot remover. (last resort, we all know you want to avoid nasty chemicals.)
