Its been two nice my 15months old boy wakes up at 3 am , stays up till 5 am, playing in his crib, giggling, talking, having a real blast....
for two whole hours!!!
Its not that he went to sleep too early or anything....
Obviously he doesnt bother me. I try hard to resist not to go to his bedroom to eat him up...its so delicious but come on!!! in the middle of the night??? is it normal? is he confusing day and night? is it gonna become an habit???
Im not worried. Im just very very curious.

don't know, but just appreciate that he occupies himself! when my 18 month old wakes up in the ;middle of the night, I don't sleep! he cries and criees until I come get him....sometimes I'm lucky and he cries a few minutes and falls back asleep...
I wouldn't worry too much _________________ "G-d's gifts to you are your talents...How you use them is your gift to G-d."

Did he just learn something new? It could be the excitement of the new skill that is keeping him up. But count your blessings that he is happy playing by himself. When my ds wakes up, he wants to share his excitement with me! _________________ http://thegr8ride.blogspot.com/

sometimes babies this age would rather practice talking than sleep. I always loved listening to it. _________________ AFS-04/04

| It's so difficult sometimes. I just think it gets easier as they get older.

You have to hold firm and not get him, change him, feed him, or play with him, or you teach him not to sleep through the night.
We had a few hard nights like that, but our son learned.
