on a kitchen shelf, in a tall tupperware container (it fits 2 bags at a time.)

I checked in the freezer because that is where I keep the sifted flour. I keep it in the cabinet, then I sift it a few kilos at a time and keep it in the freezer so I don't have to sift every time I need a bit a flour.

I buy fresh flour (up to one week from the day it was ground) and freeze, this way I don't have to sift flour. This is the way we are posek.
It especially good for whole wheat flour.

I picked freezer, but mine goes into the fridge after sifting. Before sifting it's in the pantry, like Racheleve14.

For now my flours and grains are in storage barrels in the garage. In 8 years I have B"H not found ONE bug. Eventually what I'd love to do is store whole grain and grind my own flour. I'm bored, and don't have enough to do. Very Happy

I keep it after it's sifted in the freezer, before it's sifted it's in the cabinet.

I don't.
I only bake using Dunkin Hines mix.

I use flour a lot and I hardly ever bake. I store it in a rubbermain flour/sugar container out of the bag. Then it goes into the cabinet.

I store mine in ziploc bags in tupperware in a cabinet. I've never heard of storing it in the freezer... Doesn't it freeze?

I keep mine in the cabinet in a sealed ziplock bag, but recently I found it teeming with little disgusting bugs. I almost vomited. This morning I found I had the same problem with the barley I was going to use for chulent. So disgusting. I was making horrible noises, and my 15-month ds was a bit scared, I think! He started imitating me. Anyway, perhaps the freezer is a good idea!!!

I use a ton of flour, which I buy in 25-lb. bags. I purchased a plastic, Tupperware-style dog food container on wheels that stores about 50 lbs. of flour.
