lol, we had one in EY when we first got married.
Over there its called a "mehadrin bed".
the bed might look bigger with a bedspread on it but dont try lying down in the middle. It doesnt fall away but its very uncomfortable.

You can still feel the gap. What I did (after trying that) was buy one of those down pillow top mattress covers. Really feels like a king size bed and it's comfy too!

| thats a great idea cassandra, thanks! we have 2 100cm beds so I have to find out what size bed thats equivalent to- it may be bigger than a king. hopefully I can find a mattress pad that fits. and thanks clarivka for the feedback
