How do you clean your wood and silver challah board with the glass on top? I cant exactly stick it under the kitchen faucet like I would want to. I have been spaying the glass with Windex and then wiping it down with water and how do you clean out the challah crumbs that get under the glass?

I clean it with water on a paper towel most weeks and I clean the crumbs with a toothpick.

I have four, two of them definitely don't unscrew. The ones where the who top is glass might, but there are those where the glass is completely embedded in the wood, and that isn't going anywhere.

I found it to be such a pain to clean, I was kind of glad when it broke.

Used mine 2 times unscrewing the top and cleaning it after each use. So now I just display it and use an old wooden board that fits in a silverplated tray.

I hated cleaning it so much, I stopped using it. Now I use a nice wood cutting board. No regrets.

Mine doesn't unscrew. But the glass seems to fit tightly enough that no crumbs have gotten under the glass in the two years we've been using it. I wash it gently by hand in the sink and let it dry. It takes a little longer b/c you can see a little water get between the glass and the wood, but that eventually drains out overnight.

It doesn't get too dirty each time we use it, we just wipe it down with a napkin. Every once in a while I'll take it apart and clean any crevices with a toothpick or something.

Mine unscrews to I periodically wash it with water and soap. If you can't unscrew the glass and don't want to use Windex, a mixture of vinegar and water will do the trick of degreasing; then, just wipe the solution away.
I LOVE this board!
