Baby boy

Hi everyone,
we had a baby boy shabbos morning!!! After two girls this was a very exciting event! He weighed in at 8.3 lbs.
My labor was a crazy story - I called my doctor 6am when my contractions were 8-10 minutes apart. He told me to wait till they were 4-5 minutes. BUt at that point I had such pressure I couldn't stand up straight anymore. I called him back and he told me to come in. So we quickly called a car service but I was petrified that I was going to have the baby in the car. Half way to the hospital I had the urge to push and I was freaking out. The taxi driver got really nervous and stepped on the pedal. Bh we made it to the hospital. I was 9 centimeters and gave birth 20 minutes later!!!!! No IV no medication no tearing and no stitches!!! It was great.

Mazel Tov!! Sounds like you had wonderful delivery, BARUCH HASHEM!!! I am due in less a week and also have two girls. Maybe boy season is starting again???

THank you everyone.
THe baby slept the whole day yesterday and was up the whole night crying!
I hope he'll adjust his schedule soon because I'm exhausted. Dh was up with him but I heard him cry the whole time. We gave him a pacifier and everytime it fell out (which was about every 10minutes) he started crying. My daughters never had pacifiers so I was just wondering what ppl. do. Does this happen always or do they learn how to keep it in their mouth. Should I maybe skip the pacifier altogether and get him used to being without?
Any advice much appreciated.

At this age they still have to get used to the pacifier (keeping it in). It depends if you want to put the work into getting him used to it. And then again he might just not like it. Maybe he will try sucking his thumb
