therefore, she is not the mother of Trig. Sorry to all of you who had hoped for a conspiracy. Now, you can bash her for her choices regarding her birth. If that is all you have, then that this pretty thin. This is a family that takes responsibility and I admire their courage.

Boy, that family has a full plate. I never bought the rumors, anyway, but as I said in the other thread, a child's origins are none of my business, as long as its lovingly raised. I can't imagine myself a mother and wife at 17. Then again, I could hardly imagine it considerably later!
Sarah Palin just announced her 17 year old daughter is pregnant (no the slimy Obamaniac news media didn't make this up. ) What do you think? Should she have declined the nomination? How do you think this will affect the election?
And the daughter is going to marry her lover and they are keeping the baby.
Kudos to McCain that he went with whom he thought best and didn't stoop to politicing.

I thought Sarah was running, not Bristol.
She is. And I wouldn't say that she should have declined the nomination. But it is a bit of a problem when you have based your political career on promoting an abstinence-only agenda to have the fruits of your policies so publicly displayed.

Which reminds me of the corny joke about how you tell the difference between and Orthodox, Conservative and Reform wedding - At an Orthodox wedding the mother of the bride is pregnant.
