Stinky economy!

Is it affecting anyone yet?
I own my own business and can’t cover my expenses since June.
My line is always slow in the summer but this year it’s practically dead.
So I want to know is it just summer or what?
Any feedback appreciated.

No, not just summer. The economy sucks! Big time! I keep hearing it from all types of business owners.

We aren't buying anything either. I lost my job a almost a year ago and had to settle for 2 part-time jobs. No benefits (and DH doesn't get health insurance either), no paid vacation and a $12K cut in pay. Of course DD's tuition went up and we did not qualify for scholarship $ since I lost my job so late in the year, our tax forms still showed a reasonable amount of income.

So I say, it's the economy.

I haven't covered since pesach. I also accepted clothes form cousins last winter for my kids for the first time. Now I'm offering the outgrown ones to anyone because I understand how it feels to save $1.69 on tights!
