I didn't get anything weird but I did get tons of chocolate. Is it weird that I ate it all for my breakfast dessert?

A carton of milk. Like a big 1 liter milk bottle.
Was strange, but was super useful this morning when we ran out of milk!!!
It came with a small jar of coffee and a small pan of brownies.

A full loaf of bread! The long kind of loaf!
We were out of bread this morning so it was such a help!

It’s always the strange things that come a lot more handy than wafer rolls and chocolate leaves. Here are some from over the year that really came handy.
1) a salt shaker with salt
2) whole lemons or limes
3) Trader Joe’s spices
4) a raw pack of pasta with a jar of tomato sauce
5) can of chickpeas
6) milk
7) a jar of maple syrup
8) homemade vanilla extract

I got one also but last yesterday. Funny story about it.
We received it and left it in the container while we ran out.
We came back and could not find it anywhere.
We looked all over for it. Turns out my cleaning lady thought it was perishable food and did je a favor by putting it in the fridge but all the way in the back so I didn't see it until 2 days later.

Not strange just hadn't ever seen it before...a glass bottle of organic blood orange juice.
Also some yummy chocolate colored a rather alarming shade of green to match a theme.

We also got a can of tuna. I think kids were veterinarians, so I guess tuna looks similar to pet food?

My 7 year old got from his teacher....
A bunch of mustard packets, small jelly packets, a beef stick, a piece of bread....he didn't know what to do with it.

A single rice cake dressed up as a sheep. It wasn't the only item of course, but it felt random!

My father gives a can of tuna, packet of Mayo, roll, drink and piece of fruit to all the men in his daf Yomi shuir to bring for lunch the next day.
It is not cheap.

Last year I got a container of baking powder. It wasn't part of a theme. I think the lady who made it wanted to buy American imported products and just took whatever there was

A....live fish?
I appreciate every single person who sends me mishloach manos, no matter how small, how humble, how odd.. it's the though that's appreciated. But a live fish...sorry, but I would have handed it right back to the giver. I don't want to invest in a fishtank and supplies, and I don't want animals to suffer in my home.
