Thoughts?
I've grown to love this name, and my husband and I would like to follow it with the names of our grandfathers:
I know it's a bit long, but it would be Asher David Yechiel.

If you like it why not. Youll get the hang of it.

Thanks. Of course, we'd just call him Asher...not the whole name.
And if you only knew what a crazy tongue twister our last name was on top of it!!! Laughing

It is a gorgeous name and a gorgeous combination. The roshei teivos are "adi" which in itself is a lovely nickname...

Thanks so much! That's actually what my husband noticed too (Ady...or Adi). But the funny thing is that my husband's name is Adam, so his family called him Ady / Adi growing up Smile

I have a nephew who is Asher Yonatan...

It's funny that you mention calling him by his initials. My son is Netael Simcha and we often call him Noosh (Nun Shin). And our last name begins with Kuff so his initials ask Nun Shin Kuff, which is the root of the word Neshikah, which means kiss Smile

I love the name Asher and we considered it very strongly for Avraham Tzvi.
