There is a website where you can read old books for free archive.org. I reread all my favorite Gordon Korman books recently.

Awesome thread! I live in Thornhill where Gordan Korman grew up - I'm a librarian here and his parents came into the library to visit and brought a whole bunch of autographed books - including an original printing of This Can't Be Happening at MacDonald Hall - we don't take donations for the library so I got to keep what I wanted :-)

Huge fan of his books! He has also written part of the 39 Clues series - loved that series too!

Tried watching the movies they made of the MacDonald Hall books...weren't for me.

I didn't know he grew up in Thornhill, that's awesome! Not sure how old this series is but the chasing the falconer is great!

Any tips for finding No Coins Please? I turned my middle school kids in to big fans buying what I could find but I think no coins is the best one. Even a secondhand copy
Looking for a copy in Israel but Canada is an option. Not US

I'm in the US, and I can't find No Coins Please for less than 40$. Crying

Some other books not mentioned yet: Don't Care High - for teens. Similar type to Semester in the Life of a Garbage Can and maybe Son of Interflux.
Also, Our Man Weston. It's an older book. Obscure. For middle schoolers. I only read it once as a kid. I remember that I liked it but I don't really remember the story.

Also, why are his older books out of print? It's weird.

Twins get a job at a hotel. One of the twins is a follow-the-rules type while the other is always convinced that there’s a conspiracy going on. He decides that there’s a spy at the hotel that’s going to try to steal a plane from the nearby Air Force base. For the first time hid theory is actually right but his twin doesn’t believe him. Conspiracy twin (Weston) although right about the theory, suspects random hotel guests of being the spies and tries to catch them in the act

The Twinkie Squad was my favorite book in junior high. I must've read it a ton of times.

It was the first time I read something so original... I felt like I found my weirdos.

I would love to read it again!
