Dancing in the Dark

Regarding Sun Inside Rain - yes, it's fromance so it's more appealing BUT it is also written extremely well.

Dancing in the dark is extremely disturbing in my opinion. I found it way too graphic than was necessary.

Leah Gebber is amazing. I dream of writing like her. People have told me they like my historical fiction but those who don't like history also told my husband they skipped the historical sections in my book...

I like
The Mexico File
Sun inside rain
Yair Weinstocks historical fiction

I thought I was the only one who read for my child like that! I’m not a historical fiction fan so I skipped those parts (much to the person who lent me the books horror) but I really enjoyed the rest.

As the wife of a husband with treated bipolar disorder, I always find these types of books so disturbing. It makes me feel like everyone thinks that this is the life being the family of someone with mental illness. It isn't. It's being the family of someone with untreated mental illness.

I don’t think anyone mentioned Flashback by Gita Gordon which is a wonderful book.
Every Man A Slave by Sender Ze’ev is fascinating.
Growing With My Children by Sarah Shapiro.
Ten Lost, I can’t remember the author.

Agreed. I agree it's good to spread awareness, but this seemed to spread stigma even more.

Well said
(It’s just very hard to get someone to agree to take their meds as needed even though it’s a life changer … bH your husband is able to understand that)

I'm also in the middle of Book 2 of the Trepid Trilogy and am enjoying it. There's is not much frum science fiction around. And I am happy to support a sister Imamother!

Is this your first novel? — well, 3 novels.

Who are these books geared to?
What age range?
Teen girls or boys would enjoy? Adults only?

The target audience appears to be teen boys, but teen girls and adults will also enjoy it.

Hidden by Rochel Istrin.

I want to thank you for recommending this book. It’s a series of 3 books and I just finished reading all of them. (Even There Even Now, If Only and See the Good)
It’s been a long time since I read a book I enjoyed so much. I really only read on shabbos so it took me quite some time to read all 3 books. I enjoyed every single one. Thank you!!
