So Dh has to have fish for every meal on shabbos and I am soooo over it.
We have boiled, baked and fried gefilte fish. I've made salmon and tuna/salmon croquettes. I even made salmon salad once (like tuna salad but using salmon).
What else can I make? _________________ Just Plain Frum!

Two nice salmon dishes:
I cut a romaine lettuce salad with grape tomatoes and sprinkle chunks of plain cooked salmon (boiled in water with a bit of spice) over it. Then I drizzle caeser salad dressing over it. It looks pretty and it's easy to prepare.

I actually made up my own recipe for this, and it tastes yummy. I take a puff pastry square (from a pkg of ten) and shmear a bit of mayo on it. Then I put a small piece of raw salmon (skinless) fillet on top. I make a mixture of cooked broccoli, mayo, matzoh meal, egg, and spices, and put a tablespoon of that on top. Then I pull the four corners to the middle and pinch the ends. Then you bake it at 400' until it is light brown. I usually serve it with a dill dip. _________________ A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.

Sometimes I make 'crab' salad and then place a large tablespoon of the salad in the middle of a slice of lox and roll it up.
Here's what you do:
Shred some fake crab. Add mayo, salt, pepper, spices (whatever you want to make your crab salad taste good).
Then defrost some lox, place a large tablespoon of the crab salad toward the middle or side of one slice and roll that slice into a litle cigar-like roll. Place all the rolls next to each other on a plate and sprinkle with some dried dill and lemon wedges.
Yummy!

| I've made a smoked trout (or whitefish), watercress and apple salad with a creamy horseradish dressing. I also made a poached salmon with watercress mayonnaise.
