Generations /Dorot tour by the Kosel. It's about half an hour. It's excellent. You can book online.

How is this different than the kosel tunnel tours?

Did you like a specific tour guide at the Kotel tunnel tours?

You don't have to do Kotel Tunnels with a tour.

I understand that he is very good. He is my friend/neighbor’s brother. You should feel safe with him.

Sounds beautiful! How would I know what I'm seeing, are there signs explaining and I would love recommendations please!

Sure! I believe they are in English as well, for example Masada is a national park. So is Ein Gedi - see you've even heard of a few! We love doing stuff so I have a lot of reccomendations

Habonim beach reserve
Rosh Hanikrah
Beit Guvrin
Tel Azekah (mountain top that overlooks where Dovid Hamelech fought Golias)
קבר האמהות InTiveriah Is where Miriam hanviah, Yocheved, bilahah, zilpah, Avigail, and a few other holy women are buried
Or Torah shul in Akko - made by immigrants that's all mosiacs that show the whole Jewish history. Floor, walls, ceilings etc.
By the dead sea there's the dead sea פטריות. Salt formations that are really cool to take pictures with and see.
Gan garoo
Yodfat monkey forest
Roman aqueduct in caseria and the caseria national park nearby
Nesher park
Gan hashlosha
Park hamanayot
Ein Afek

Just Google these places.

I reccomend also doing a shuk tour, if you like the arts I know someone who does a fantastic silk painting workshop where you can make head coverings, wall hangings, challah covers etc.

Do you eat mehadrin? If so I can reccomend food places as well.

5 star really depends on what your family likes, but some of our 5 star highlights (some were already mentioned above) were Yad LaShiryon-Latrun, sandboarding, rappelling, and tornado boats.

AFAIK you need to book tickets for the tunnels unless you want to just go to the shul. You can book tickets on the Kotel tunnel website.

Mitzpeh Ramon, the crater is amazing, there are beautiful hikes in the area. Also make sure to book a stargazing/astronomy tour with Ira Machefsky there too - http://www.astronomyisrael.com/

We went sandboarding at Dror Bamidbar. Tornado boat was arranged by our tour guide in Akko.
