| I made mushroom barley soup for yontiff. If I remember correctly I fried mushrooms added a little flour mixed with water to thicken it. added a little wine. I had some old chicken soup in the freezer which I added to the mix. I added barley to the mix and cooked it for a while. I don't remember what spices I added if any. The chicken soup was already spiced. Basicly an experiment but I barely if ever follow recipes.

| yeah well my freezer was unplugged by mistake and I had to go on a cooking marathon and I have these beef cubes so I wanted to make mushroom barley soup with meat! (knowone should ever knwo from this!!)

| why not just make regular mushroom barley soup and just add the meat . I'm sure it will be delicious!

| Spice n Spirit have a reallt good recipe not w/ beef but just add it anways

| didn't like that recipe had funny ingredients and stuff I got one from my mom if its good I will let you know! if anyone is interested!
