What would you make as a really special supper for dh?
I'd like a few courses.
TIA

I made a very nice dinner for my third anniversary that was 1/2 a year ago. I made pics of everything, but I'll try to see if I remember w/o the pics:

It was a Dairy Dinner.

Entree??

Appetizer:
Sauted onions & squash (add some cheese if you'd like) on a puffed flaky dough square

Main Dish:
Fresh Breaded Flounder (which is a big treat given the price of a slice),
hmmm.... what else?
Perhaps a cheese-lukshen kugel....
and I must've had a vegetable too, I just don't remember what.

Dessert:
Slice of ice cream, Milchige Donut (It was chanuka time) with a burning sugar cube at the side. Now! THAT WAS ROMANTIC!

Besides, the table was nicely set, with candles all over..... Whew....

Linguini pasta with a milchig tomato vodka sauce (dont worry, the alcohol evaporates only leaving a unique taste)
garlic bread
artichokes with melted butter for dipping

melt ice cream and shape into heart shaped servings, drizzle melted chocolate on top.

Of course, your dh would have to like the types of food you are making...probably not too many like artichokes

Does he prefer milchig or fleishig? You can make a good steak for a main dish if he is a guy who likes meat. I like the heart shpaed ice cream idea.
