you can never feed a whole crew with chocolate chip cookies ... they're gone as they come out of the oven ... and as for the flipping them over ... really it means taking a metal spatula and flipping them "off" ... put them on another plate or a cooling rack and do NOT keep them on hot cookie sheet - cause they will cause them to over cook even while out of the oven ...

nope, either brown sugar should work fine, I have used both types.

Can I substitute the milk with water? Don't know if I can get such a small amount of creamer (besides for on the airplane) and wouldn't want to make them milchig

I made these. Every time I took a bite I couldn't stop thinking that I was eating crisco. I don't have such a problem when I eat devil dogs or chinese marble cookies! Don't know why. Maybe because they kind of tasted like the cookies made with instant pudding, so I couldn't stop thinking that I could make them without crisco & it would taste the same...
