wow, how many tzitzis does he have? My dh only has one shabbos, one weekday, and one spare (for when I wash). He only wears the woolen ones though.

I wash my son whos 5 tzitzis after he wears them when he takes them off they go straight into the laundry along with everything else he is wearing.
my husband I wash whenever he decides to put them in the laundry and once in a while is when I see them on the dresser at night I put them in the laundry.

DH hand washes his tzitzis once a week.
My son's tzitzis I wash every 3-4 days of wear, usually when the other pair comes out of the laundry, so he can always have a pair available.

Well I wash dh's whenever he puts them in the laundry. I just put them in a lingerie bag and hang dry. Very easy, very quick and very cheap. Dh has lots of tzitzis though. He wears cotton during the week and wool on shabbos. Oh and mesh on the bike (those get washed right after they're worn! Laughing

I wash my 4 yr old's all the time - they always come home smelly! I put them in a mesh washing bag (sometimes called a "lingerie bag") and throw 'em right in.

I soak in a hot water/oxy clean mix, then rinse/wring, and hang to dry...

Not as often as they need either.

I just used a rubber band on the strings of the tzitzis for the first time and it worked like a charm Thumbs Up , no tangling. My dh appreciated it too because I usually give it to him to untangle Laughing .
