Bought a bakery b-day cake yesterday with cherries dipped in choc on top and lots of cream ( ). Whole thing is still in tact. Will it last till Shabbos or should I freeze it and defrost shabbos morning?

I agree, it's only a few days, so it shouldn't need to go into the freezer, fridge should be fine assuming you have room!

I think putting it in the fridge will only dry it out. Wrap it well in glad wrap or some-such until then. _________________ Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional. (I haven't finished growing up yet; I'm still a work in progress - until 120!)

Oh! wrap it and refrigerate it!
If it's wrapped it won't dry out...but if it wrappend and on the counter it might get moist and moldy....well probably not so quickly, but it depends on the weather by you...

| Usually it hardens a bit in the fridge but if you take it out the morning you want to use it the moisture is restored when it returns to room temp.
