Those that use a crockpot, what do you do with the crockpot after Shabbos this year- it stays on for no reason for 2 days?

a timer is a good idea. only put in the pins that shut off, and wont turn it back on.
as for yapchik recipe, do u mean potato kugel with meat?

same here. I want to make it to have normal food to serve the kids on the long long shabbos afternoon.
I think I'll make it in a 'disposable pot' and leave it on the hotplate/griddle.
a recipe would be very much appreciated.
